I sold my first drawing that wasn't a commisson.

Yup.. It's sold and the funny thing is who I sold it to
I had a small
exhibition in my homevillage last month. My first exhibition. My homevillage is pretty small. Only about 700 people live there.

I showed the people there who I grew up with some of my best work and they where also alowed to
see me drawing in real life. (I drew the car I'm still working on.)
A few people came up to me and were very interested in commission me for a drawing, especially on there pets (After seeing my drawing of "Zeb and Ricco").
Ok now back to the sold drawing up there... So when the exhibition ended and I had put the drawings aside, an older lady who is a friend of my mom came up to me and started talking about the drawing of Kate Beckinsale. She was so amazed and she told me she had to have it

. She just had to check the dentist-bill first so she could afford it
Last week she called me telling me that she wanted to buy it. I was very happy.

I wouldn't have sold it to anybody. The drawing means a lot to me and is one of my favorites so it ment a lot when somebody from my homevillage bought it.
Funny thing though is that it was an older lady who bought it. I mean it's a pretty sexy drawing... She new that but she bought it because it was "SO BEAUTIFUL".
Normaly I only make
commissions for friends and family but right now I even got time for other projects if you or somebody you know is interrested.
If anybody is interrested in commission me for a drawing please send me a note...........................................................................................................................
I'm definitely adding you to my watchlist!
es increible de evrdad!

It's absurd. I love it.
No I don't use a grid. I have only used it once on the "Zeb and Ricco" drawing because it was very large.
I draw free-hand with some parts measured out to keep me on track. I make some dots where the eyes are suposed to be, where the neck begins and so on. It's not allways accurate but my eyes usually see what angles the parts are suposed to be drawn in.
