This time I used a new paper again. This paper is very soft and has almost no texture to it. It is called Durex.
The whole idea with this drawing exercise was for me to see if I'm able to spend so much time and effort on just a pair of lips. I asked myself. If I would ever make a detailed portrait on a larger scale, like A2. Would I have the patience to finish it?.. and would I keep the same high level through the whole drawing?
I guess for me to be able to do that, I would have to think of it as more then one drawing. Like for example the lips is one drawing, then next the eye is one, and then the fringe and so on.
Also this exercise gave me a good look on how lips look upclose and how to draw them which will help me on future drawings.
Next up I think will be an eye! ^^
I have chosen not to have a watermark on this drawing because it looks so bad with it. Please respect the copyright and do not use my drawing without my permission!
really beautiful! like the detail, the light reflexes.. great piece! and i know what it takes to draw that detailled and stuff so reeeeaally great job!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
